Golden glimmer

£350.00Price

This cosy and heavy piece is as close to a weighted blanket as I have ever made; one side is made up of two large woollen suiting fabric scraps from a recent film, with an appliquéd vintage napkin/place setting found in a flea market in Italy. The reverse side is made from a piece of yellow cotton and a messy stretch of calico once used to cover a screen printing table, with added block prints using left over print mixes. Some interesting fabric scraps are appliquéd on this side in their obscure remnant cut-out shapes, to waste as little as possible. There is a layer of wadding sandwiched between the outer layers, made from 70% recycled cotton & 30% polyester.

  • Care

All fabrics have been washed out before use, so the colours should not bleed. I would recommend spot cleaning and carefully hand washing when necessary, then hang to dry.

  • Returns

I cannot offer returns on commissions, however I would never want someone to be disappointed with their purchased piece - please get in touch if you have any queries.
